Due to a recent new job offer that is politically restricted it is unfortunate that Will Nichols has had to resign from Fowlmere Parish Council. Consequently there is now a vacancy which is fully explained in the formal legal notice document in this article.
The result of the Fowlmere Parish Council Election was published this afternoon by South Cambridgeshire District Council. Thank you to all 601 residents who turned out to vote and the 10 candidates for standing.
Fowlmere goes to the Polls on Thursday 7th May to elect both a District Councillor to represent us on South Cambs District Council and 9 Parish Councillors to form our own Parish Council. Please remember you now need to take a valid form of ID to the Polling Station to be able to cast your votes.
The new Food Caddy collections will start in Fowlmere on Tuesday 12th May. Residents should now have received their caddy and a covering letter. If you have not please follow the links to SCDC where you can order one. There is also a useful YouTube video to watch giving instructions and tips.
