Police Statement: Hare Coursing on the rise

The Parish Clerk had a call from our local PCSO this afternoon to make us aware of a rise in Hare Coursing recently and how to report it. If you see Hare Coursing actively taking place please phone 999 to report it. It is illegal, causes criminal damage to crops and risks farmers' livelihoods

The Parish Clerk had a phone call from our local PCSO this afternoon to make us aware of the increase in Hare Coursing recently. 

If anyone has concerns about Hare Coursing please phone the police on 101.

HOWEVER, if you see Hare Coursing actively taking place please call 999.

It is criminal damage and costs out farmers £1000’s of pounds and puts their livelihood at risk.
