Peter moved to Fowlmere in 2016 to be closer to his position as an IT Consultant at Christ’s College Cambridge, yet still being able to enjoy a rural village, its nature & a vibrant local community.
He was warmly accepted by the community & joining the FPC was an ideal way to repay the people of Fowlmere for that warm welcome.
Supporting village groups & local businesses remains his priorities, but never at the detriment of the local ecology or environment.
Currently Peter coordinates the ‘The Friends of the Round Moat, Fowlmere’; improving the biodiversity of a protected scheduled monument owned by the FPC, with the help of local volunteers & guidance from specialists. (Facebook link below.) Peter also gives IT support to the Speedwatch Team.
