Dovehouse Close bench replaced
The tired and worn out bench on the small Dovehouse Close green has been replaced with a new one as part of the Parish Council's refurbishment programme.
Parish Councils are about making small but worthwhile improvements to our villages. We could very easily be called a Village Council or a Community Council. We can't change the world but we do strive to make Fowlmere a better place to live, work and play. Our website includes information about the council and also services provided by the District and County Council and more. If you can't find the information you require then please contact us.

The Parish Council has been granted change of use permission for The Old Chapel. The permissions now allow the Parish Council to move forward with purchasing the The Old Chapel, retain its use for the community long term and secure the future of the beloved Fowlmere Playgroup.
There are many things claimed on social media and the internet. Not all of them are true. Ofcom gives some very good advice for citizens of all ages. Learning never stops.
Cambridgeshire County Council will be running some more Dr. Bike sessions in South Cambs this Autumn. These involve free bike safety checks, minor repairs and expert recommendations for residents. Please see the article and poster for dates and locations.
