Friends of St. Mary’s Talk: “The Real Margaret Thatcher”

On Friday 19th April the Friends of St Mary (FoSM) will present an evening talk by Sir John Coles G.C.M.G.” entitled “The Real Margaret Thatcher”. Sir John had a 37-year career as a diplomat. He was private secretary for foreign and defence affairs to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher between 1981 and 1984, a period covering among other things the Falklands War.” We will start at 7.30 pm and admission is by ticket which can be bought in advance from me. They are £12.50 a head. Fowlmere Residents and Friends of St Mary get a discount of £2.50 ahead. Free drink included.
