This weekend, the Cemetery extension will be cut using Scythes. The work is being carried out using traditional hand-cutting methods to help manage the grass and maintain the area in a way that is sympathetic to the cemetery environment.

The work is being carried out using traditional hand-cutting methods to help manage the grass and maintain the area in a way that is sympathetic to the cemetery environment.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
- Keep a safe distance from anyone using a scythe.
- Do not enter an area where cutting is actively taking place.
- Wait until cutting has finished before approaching or walking through the area.
- Keep children and dogs under close control and away from the working area.
- Take care as cut grass and uneven ground may make the surface slippery or difficult to walk on.
- Please follow any temporary signs or instructions given by those carrying out the work.
