Vacancy on Fowlmere Parish Council to be filled by a by-election
Following a request by 11 “Electors” (residents) to SCDC in line with section 87(2) of the 1972 Local Government Act, there will be a by-election for the vacant seat. Further details will follow when the Parish Council receives more information from SCDC.

Vacancy on Fowlmere Parish Council to be filled by a by-election
Following a request by 11 “Electors” (residents) to SCDC, there will be a by-election for the vacant seat. This is in line with section 87(2) of the 1972 Local Government Act.
The vacancy has been caused by the resignation of Will Nichols who has been offered a new job which is politically restricted and prevents him from being a Parish Councillor.
Further details will follow when the Parish Council receives more information from SCDC.
