The tired and worn out bench on the small Dovehouse Close green has been replaced with a new one as part of the Parish Council's refurbishment programme.

Historic Building and Wildlife Information Maps Return
The 3 Historic Building and Wildlife Information Maps that are on The Butts, Jacksons Way and in St. Mary's Churchyard have returned refreshed. The original artwork was used to reprint the maps and we think they look great.

Historic Buildings Info Signs being refreshed.
The 3 Historic Building Info Signs that are on The Butts, Jacksons Way and in St. Mary's Churchyard are being refreshed. The original artwork is being used to reprint the info signs that have become tired. The old signs have been taken away to use as templates for the drilling of the fixing holes.

Swan bench off for restoration
The Bench outside the Swan is the latest to be given the restoration treatment. It's been taken away to the workshop to be given some love 🫶 and attention. We hope it will be back in its usual spot soon.

Restored WI bench returns to The Butts
The metal WI bench at the top of The Butts has returned after being restored to as good as new. First installed in 1965 to mark the 50th anniversary of the WI, the 60 year old bench has been straightened, strengthened and given a shiny new green repaint to bring it back to life.

Metal WI Bench off for refurbishment
The much loved green metal WI bench at the top of The Butts has been temporarily removed for refurbishment. Installed in 1965 to mark the 50th anniversary of the WI, the 60 year old bench has been showing its age. It will be straightened and strengthened before a repaint to bring it back to life.
